The 23rd Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF), organized by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation with the support of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), was held from December 11 to 18.<\/p>\n

As a key highlight of the festival, under the Tamil feature films competition 12 films has been shortlisted, representing the finest of contemporary Tamil cinema.<\/p>\n

Award ceremony was held on the final day of the festival and director Ram\u2019s Paranthu Po was chosen by the jury as the Best Film of the festival. The award was received by director Ram, along with Mr. Pradeep Milroy, Head of Disney+ Star Tamil and Mr. Karuppusamy, Founder of GKS Productions.<\/p>\n

The recognition of Paranthu Po reaffirms director Ram\u2019s distinctive cinematic voice and the film\u2019s powerful storytelling, marking another significant milestone in contemporary Tamil cinema.<\/span><\/div>\n
